Special Instructions: Emails Treated as Spam

Emails sent from My BackPack may be rejected by some mail servers, if the Senior Systems Cloud domain does not have permission to send emails from the school's domain. This is because of Sender Policy Framework (SPF), an email validation system designed to prevent email spam by verifying sender IP addresses.

In order to ensure that the emails you send are not rejected as spam, you can modify your DNS record to give Senior-Anywhere permission to send emails from your domain. Configure your DNS record to give Senior-Anywhere.com permission to send email from your local domain by adding the following to your SPF record:

include:senior-anywhere.com
